As Creative Director, Erin is the visionary behind the Whip Salon aesthetic. A cornerstone of our team since our doors opened in 2016, she brings over a decade of high-level experience to every facet of our brand. While she continues to be our most sought-after stylist behind the chair, her influence extends far beyond the salon floor—shaping our creative direction, mentoring our talent, and ensuring our technical vision remains at the forefront of the industry.

WHY I LOVE BEING IN THE INDUSTRY

Growing up, I never felt drawn to typical childhood dreams like being a police officer or astronaut. I’ve always loved science especially biology & chemistry and art, particularly ceramics, but I didn’t see a career in it. Everything changed the first time I got my hair done as a teenager. The confidence I felt walking out of the salon was unforgettable. Now, being in this industry lets me give that same feeling to my clients every day. Watching someone walk in happy and leave feeling like a superstar is what inspires me most.


Favorite Service

Extensions all the way! From the moment I entered hair school, I knew extensions were my calling. Watching transformation videos and seeing clients’ confidence skyrocket was so inspiring. I’d never felt truly confident in my own hair until I got my first set of extensions—it was life-changing. I knew I had to get certified. Three years later, extensions are still my favorite service. They let me connect deeply with clients, helping them leave feeling like a whole new person. Some have even cried, hugged me, and thanked me for boosting their confidence—and that’s why I’ll always love doing extensions.

I like to think I attract fun, free-spirited clients—people open to suggestions and excited to try something new. I also connect deeply with clients, building meaningful, even spiritual relationships along the way. For anyone visiting me for the first time, you can expect a truly unique experience. My goal is for every client to leave feeling like the best version of themselves—beautiful, confident, and already looking forward to their next visit. Personal & Professional Goals

In 2026, my main focus is education. I’ve always promised myself I won’t get stuck in one style or give every client the same balayage. This year, I’m putting extra intention into customizing every service so it feels personal for each client. I want them to feel comfortable speaking up if they want something different, and I’m always open to evolving, switching things up, and doing whatever it takes to give them the best experience and help them feel their absolute best.

My absolute favorite service is hair extensions, specifically custom colored installs that blend seamlessly and feel lightweight and natural. Being part of the beauty industry for nearly 10 years has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. It’s hard to choose a favorite service because I truly love them all—and I never like putting myself in a box! If I had to pick, natural highlights and balayage are where my heart (and expertise) really shine. I specialize in creating “stress-free hair”—the kind you can love no matter how long it’s been between appointments. Whether it’s soft, natural highlights or a beautifully dimensional balayage, every style is crafted with passion and intention to be perfectly you.

I love being part of the beauty industry because it lets me be creative while helping people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Watching YouTube beauty videos first sparked my passion and turned my interest into a career goal. I’ve always believed that with practice, I can master anything. Why I Love Being in the Industry

I love being in this industry because of the people. I love bringing clients joy and helping them feel confident and happy in their own skin. Being able to bring their hair goals to life and see all the different looks come together is incredibly fulfilling. I’ve been drawn to hair and beauty since I was a child, so having it as my career feels like the greatest blessing. What continues to inspire me is how this industry never stops evolving—you’re always learning, growing, and changing. It’s never boring, and the friendships and education you gain along the way make it even more rewarding.


Favorite Service

Choosing a favorite service is difficult because I truly love them all, but if I had to pick, it would be cutting. I love bringing a look to life and shaping the hair to complement the style someone is going for. A great cut is the foundation of any look—it makes the style and color, not the other way around. Haircuts can be intimidating, but they are also the most rewarding when you get it just right for your client.

My clients are truly the best I could ever ask for. I work with all kinds of people, and that variety is one of my favorite parts of what I do. I love meeting different personalities, and I pride myself on having a welcoming, come-as-you-are atmosphere in my chair. If you haven’t sat with me before, you can expect kindness, knowledge, laughter, and lots of smiles. I’m a big reader and love talking about books and travel, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients—so you’ll never feel bad about chatting while you’re with me.

My goal is to continue growing my knowledge in every aspect of my career. I plan to take as many classes as possible to better myself and refine my techniques for my clients. I would love to see my books filled with new faces, level up before September, and graduate another associate under me by the end of the year. Most importantly, I strive to have the happiest clients on the planet.
